Setting up a user FTP Account Under the control panel choose the FTP option and select Manage Accounts 
Select the Add Account Link 
Now Add the User Details 
Notes:- Login: Choose a name the user will login with. Quota - If you want to limit the total size of files the user can upload enter a value, otherwise leave the quota as unlimited. Password: Enter a pasword for the user Directory - When you add a Login/user the directory/folder cpanel will suggest a folder to use. In the example above the user Directory is /username.
If you remove the Login/Username this will give that user access to all the files off the /public_html/ folder. Normally you would accept the default user name, unless there is another folder which clashes with the username entered.
Once you are happy with the above click on the CREATE button
Once you have created the user login these are the settings you will use for the clients FTP client | Site Address/FTP Host | url name example:- nzservers.com | | Access Protocol | FTP | | Host Directory/Folder | leave blank | | Login | username@domain.name | | Example mike@nzservers.com | | Password | Password you used when you created the account |

Summary
Click on the Ftp Manager button on the home page. Click on the FTP Accounts link. Click on the Add Account link. Enter the name of the FTP account in the Login field and the password for the account in the Password field. Enter the path to the directory to which this FTP account has access. Warning: If you enter the top-level of the web site by entering a slash (/), all users with the correct password will be able to add, edit, and delete all files on your site. It is advisable to limit an FTP account to a smaller section of your web site. Click on the Create button.
